DISCERNMENT

From the beginning, men and women have had to take decisions, to make choices: what have I got to do? Or, what should I do? What is good; what is bad? To take good decisions or to make good choices they rely on their experience: what went well; what did not? They rely also on their conscience, that most intimate centre of a human being.
